Using TIC

 

Welcome to the Thailand Information Center (TIC) webpage. Here, you will find information about access to TIC as well as contact details if you need to find out more. 

 

Overview

 

  • All members of Chulalongkorn University, including undergraduate students, graduate students, doctoral students, staff, and lecturers, are welcome to use documents in TIC’s area. Please note that you may need to bring your CU id card in case of borrowing documents. Please see ‘Borrowing’ for full details.

 

  • General users and users from other institutions can apply to use documents for reference in TIC’s area. Please see ‘Borrowing’ for full details.

 

Note: General users and users from other institutions have to contact staff at the entrance area on the 1st floor, Office of Academic Resources in order to visit TIC. Fee daily entrance is 20 baht.

- According to the Office of Academic Resources’ rules, if the loan document is lost or damage, the user must pay 150 baht for each document and buy a new one for TIC. 

- For documents, users can renew TIC’s documents online by themselves. For thesis, users can renew TIC’s these by calling 02-218-2959 or sending an email to tic@car.chula.ac.th

- TIC has a photocopy shop located in TIC area.     

- TIC provides interlibrary loan service (only for some institutions)
